Last year it was announced that, after over decade off of the air, Star Trek would once again be setting a course for the small screen via the new subscription service CBS All Access. Little else was known at the time about when the show would take place or in which continuity, either the original or the current J.J. Abrams. But a new rumor claims to have the answer to both of those questions.
The fine folks over at Birth.Movies.Death, who brought us the Spider-man scoop yesterday, are claiming they know just what we can expect from the new series. According to BMD, the show will take place in TOS continuity between Star Trek: The Undiscovered Country and The Next Generation series. But that isn’t to say that all of the new episodes will remain during this period. BMD says the new show will be taking the anthology approach, with each season potentially taking place during completely different time periods
Trekkers, Let us know what you think? Is it worth $6 a month for CBS ALL ACCESS to watch this?
